At St-Hubert, we serve only grain-fed, air-chilled chicken.
The quality of the chicken served at St-Hubert is superior to that of our competitors, particularly because all the chickens we use are fed a grain mixture consisting of corn, wheat and soy, as well as vitamins and minerals, with no animal fat or by-products. The chickens we use are all raised in Quebec and selected with care.
For almost 15 years now, St-Hubert has served only air-chilled (rather than water-chilled) chicken, which enables us to offer you plumper, juicier, tastier poultry. It's chicken that makes our master roasters proud.and makes you happy!
St-Hubert is a leader in the gradual elimination of antibiotics.
"Antibiotic-free chicken," as the term suggests, is poultry that is raised on antibiotic-free food throughout its life. Chicken farmers currently resort to the use of antibiotics in certain instances, but only when it is necessary for the bird's health. There are strict procedures in place to make sure that all traces of these antibiotics are eliminated from the chicken before it appears on the market... and on your plate.
Nevertheless, since we have been receiving more and more requests from our customers regarding this issue, we are working in partnership with the Éleveurs de volailles du Québec (Quebec.s Poultry Farmers) so that eventually we can serve only chicken that has never been treated with antibiotics.
St-Hubert offers one of the widest selections of side dishes available at a family restaurant chain.
While St-Hubert's customers love our crispy fries cooked in 100% vegetable (canola) oil, they can also choose from a diverse range of other side dishes at no extra cost: Caesar salad, garden salad, rice pilaf, vegetables, mashed potatoes or baked potato.
At St-Hubert, we have delicious and healthy food.
St-Hubert offers a range of tasty dishes and meals suited to the needs of people who're watching their waistline. Some good examples are our light Italian salad dressing, side orders of vegetables, skinless roasted chicken and grilled chicken breast without sauce.
Meanwhile, for those who simply have a smaller appetite, some of our dishes are also available in moderate-sized portions.
Our kids. menu will keep parents happy too.
Since we.re concerned about providing children with the best food possible, we have updated our kids' menu by introducing a new approach to side dishes. Kids can choose among the following options: rice, vegetables, mashed potatoes, baked potato, fries, and garden or Caesar salad.
In addition to removing chicken wings and poutine from our kids' menu, we have reduced the sodium content in our most popular option, "The Zoo" animal-shaped chicken croquettes, by 40%.
When you place an order for delivery or takeout, fruit purée is available as a dessert option for kids.
St-Hubert takes into account people with food allergies.
Our Nutritional Information Guide, available at all St-Hubert restaurants, includes a list of the allergens found in each of our dishes. This makes it much easier for people with food allergies to make a safe choice.
At St-Hubert, no nuts or peanuts are used in our kitchens or in any of our recipes. However, keep in mind that the products and ingredients we use are provided by external suppliers. It is impossible for us to guarantee that they have not been exposed to allergens at the suppliers' facilities, so we cannot eliminate the risks completely.
To cater to the needs of our customers who are allergic to or have adverse reactions to certain foods, St-Hubert offers two exclusive dessert options that are certified as being made without eggs, peanuts, nuts and dairy products: our apple temptation and chocolate raspberry muffin. These two products have been developed for St-Hubert by Guardian Angel Foods, a Quebec company specializing in non-allergenic foods.
