Community involvement has been one of St-Hubert's core values since the very beginning of its operations. Giving back to the community is more than a commitment at St-Hubert; it is a social responsibility that the Company embraces wholeheartedly. St-Hubert devotes 1% of its before-tax profits to social and community projects.

The Imagine Foundation has recognized St-Hubert Bar-B-Q Ltd. as a "Generous Company,” for its contributions to humanitarian organizations. The Company founders have always encouraged their network partners to play an active part in their community.

Since 1999, St-Hubert has been organizing an annual fundraising campaign throughout its network in aid of the Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau. The mission of the organization is to provide assistance to children with cancer through the creation and continued development of the Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau, annexed to the CHU Sainte-Justine in Montreal (phases I and II completed in 2007), and through ongoing research. Customers, franchisees and employees of the restaurants, head office, customer service centre and distribution centre as well as the Company's suppliers are all encouraged to take part in this annual campaign.

To date, our commitment to this cause has made it possible for us to donate nearly two million dollars to the foundation. With your support, we are confident that we will soon hit the two-million-dollar mark! We invite you to join us and take part in the annual fundraising activities organized at your St-Hubert restaurant every May.

We thank you for your continued support for this very worthy cause.

St-Hubert Bar-B-Q Ltd. has been a proud partner of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation since 2007. It works with the foundation to raise money to provide assistance to women with breast cancer by funding research and survivor support groups.

An in-house team has also been created to solicit donations for the CIBC Run for the Cure, which is held on the first Sunday of every October in Montreal and Quebec City. Come one, come all to walk and run with us and show your support for the thousands of women who are fighting the good fight!

The Company's Corporate Donations Committee, senior executives and employees generously contribute time and energy and lend a helping hand to this mutual aid network. Moreover, the head office of St-Hubert donates some $70,000 to the organization’s fundraising campaign every year.
