Empty contents of pouch into a sauce pan.
Whisk in 300 mL (1 1/4 cups) of cold water.
Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
BEEF BOURGUIGNON RECIPE:
Flour 454g (1 lb) of beef cubes.
Brown the meat on all sides in oil.
Sauté one dozen of small onions (fresh or canned) and 227g (8 oz) of quartered mushrooms.
Add sauce, cover and simmer over low heat in oven at 325 °F for 2 hours or until meat is tender.
Makes about 5 servings.
