Poutine Meatloaf

Ingredients List

  • 1 ½ tbsp (22 ml) St-Hubert Steak Spices
  • 1 pouch 52 g St-Hubert Original or 25% Less Salt Poutine Gravy
  • 1 ¾ lbs (785 g) ground pork
  • 2 c (500 ml) potatoes, cut into small cubes
  • 1 ½ c (375 ml) cheese curds
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c (125 ml) breadcrumbs

Preparation Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients except the sauce.
  3. Transfer to a Dutch oven or ovenproof dish and press the mixture into the pan.
  4. Cover and bake for 15 minutes. 
  5. Prepare gravy according to package directions, but use only 1 3/4 cups (430 ml) of water. 
  6. Pour the sauce over the meatloaf and bake for another 45 minutes. 
  7. Remove the cover and bake another 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese on top is golden.
