À La King Sauce Mix



Make a meal fit for royalty with our St-Hubert pastry shells and à la king sauce. Served with chicken pieces, cooked mixed vegetables and sautéed mushrooms. Your entire family will be delighted. Simply add water and stir.




  1. Empty contents of pouch into a saucepan.

  2. Whisk in 250 mL (1 cup) of cold water.

  3. Add 500 mL (2 cups) of milk. Mix well.

  4. Bring to a boil over MEDIUM-HIGH heat, stirring constantly.

  5. Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes stirring occasionally.


  1. Microwave 500 mL (2 cups) of milk on HIGH (100%) 3 to 4 minutes.

  2. Empty contents of pouch into a 1.5 L (6 cups) microwave-safe bowl.

  3. Whisk in 250 mL (1 cup) of cold water.

  4. Whisk in hot milk. Do not cover.

  5. Microwave on HIGH until mixture comes to a boil, mixing with whisk and scraping bottom of bowl once every minute.

  6. Cook 2 to 3 minutes longer. Mix well before serving.

Makes 13 servings of 60 mL (1/4 cup).
